Morrissey, Patti Smith, Interpol to Headline CBGB Festival
The CBGB Festival unveils its stage lineups, featuring Morrissey and Patti Smith on the main CBGB Stage, with Interpol, Sex Pistols (members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock), and other acts also performing across two stages.
CBGB and OMFUG have revealed the CBGB Festival’s accompanying acts for the two stages at the event: the CBGB Stage and the Marshall Presents: Hilly’s Stage. CBGB Stage will feature Morrissey and Patti Smith, Interpol, Sex Pistols (comprised of Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock) with Frank Carter, Bikini Kill and others.
Marshall Presents: Hilly’s Stage will feature performances from Violet Grohl, Haywire, Circle Jerks, Mannequin Pussy, Jackie And Judy and more. The CBGB Festival goes down on Sept. 26 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, NY.
Fans who purchase festival tickets by July 8 will receive an “exclusive CBGB Archive merchandise item” per ticket order. Tickets to the event can be purchased here .
But the CBGB fun doesn’t start there; UK’s electronic pioneers The Prodigy will help usher in CBGB Festival weekend with a show at Under the K Bridge with special guests, Brutalismus 3000, Sextile and Lip Critic. The Prodigy’s performance will be their first live show in New York City in 17 years. Tickets for this show can be purchased here .
