Saul Williams Announces New Album 'Leap Life' Featuring 3D, Kamasi Washington, and Moor Mother

Saul Williams is back and will release new album Leap Life on August 28 via Big Dada. It’s his first in seven years and was made with longtime collaborator Carlos Niño , and the album features contributions from Robert Del Naja ( Massive Attack ‘s 3D ), Kamasi Washington, Moor Mother, Gonjasufi, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Surya Botofasina .

He describes the album as an attempt to commune with the dead. “We’re going to need those spirits,” he says. “There’s an understanding that the soldiers in our struggle are not only the visible ones. There are people standing and fighting with us that we may not see.”

The first single from the album is “Conspiracy” which features Moor Mother and Gonjasufi, and comes with a video directed by Cleon Arrey. You can watch that below.
