Stephen Colbert Mocks CBS Colleagues in Late Show Clip

One week from tonight, CBS will air the final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert before putting the illustrious late-night franchise out to pasture for good. With nothing to lose, Colbert took a not-so-subtle swipe at his soon-to-be-former colleagues in an opening bit that aired during Thursday’s episode.

According to media reports, CBS News boss Bari Weiss bungled the travel logistics for CBS’s coverage of Trump’s visit to China, leaving anchor Tony Dokoupil forced to cover the trip from nearby Taiwan instead of the mainland. That set the stage for the following clip:
