The rock legends will release their 25th studio album on July 10 via Polydor/Universal Music and it will feature guest appearances from  Paul McCartney ,  Robert Smith , Steve Winwood and the band’s late drummer Charlie Watts . Pre-order your copy  here .

The record’s lead single was ‘In The Stars’, backed by the raw, bluesy ‘ Rough And Twisted ’, and now the full 14-track list of songs has been revealed, with the track titles translated into an array of actual foreign tongues.

As had been previously revealed,  it includes a cover of Amy Winehouse’s ‘You Know I’m No Good’  -– translated into the Polish as ‘Wiesz, ze jestem do niczego’.

- ‘Mr. Charm’ (‘ミスター・チャーム’ in Japanese)

- ‘Divine Intervention’ (‘Intervencao Divina’ in Portuguese)

- ‘Ringing Hollow (‘Rinkelende Holte’ in Dutch)

- ‘Never Wanna Lose You’ (‘No quiero perderte nunca’ in Spanish)

- ‘You Know I’m No Good’ (‘Wiesz, ze jestem do niczego’ in Polish)

At a media event in New York last week,  the band also revealed how they ended up working with The Cure’s Robert Smith . “He was standing there with his back to me and this long gown on and when he turned around, he was covered in lipstick,” Jagger said. “And I said, I never met him before, ‘You’re Robert Smith of The Cure’. And he said, ‘Yeah, we’ve never met’. And I said, ‘While you’re here, you better go and do something’. That’s how collaborations work sometimes,” he smiled.

‘Back In Your Life’ is a track written by  Ronnie Wood  in tribute to Brian Wilson,  composed in the days after the Beach Boys leader’s death last year .

The whole record was brought to life in less than one month at Metropolis Studios in West London, with production from  Andrew Watt  – who also worked with them on 2024’s ‘ Hackney Diamonds ’.

“I love doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis,” said Jagger. “It was a very intense few weeks recording ‘Foreign Tongues’. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone.”

Keith Richards  added that the record has a sense of “continuity from ‘Hackney Diamonds’” and captures “that London vibe” that the last record had, while Wood added that the “the atmosphere in the room was so creative, and the whole band was on top form throughout the whole process”.

The Rolling Stones are unlikely to announce a full tour anytime soon. In late 2025, they confirmed that they scrapped plans for a UK and European stadium tour in 2026 because Keith Richards  was unable to “commit” to it.

The group embarked on their  North American ‘Hackney Diamonds’ tour in 2024 , with the trek landing at  Number Six on the list of the highest-grossing music world tours of that year . They last played the UK in 2022, when two huge London BST Hyde Park gigs followed a stadium concert in Liverpool .
