10 New Songs Released Today
This week, new music from Quicksand, Slow Fiction, Tiny Habits featuring Matty Healy, Gizmo, and others is available to stream.

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out . We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
QUICKSAND – “COOL GUY”
“’Cool Guy’ is like an OG HC diss track, like ‘Small Man, Big Mouth’ by Minor Threat or ‘Hypocrite’ by Negative Approach,” Quicksand say of their new single. “Sometimes you just gotta get those negative emotions out.” New album Bring Out the Psychics is out July 17.

SLOW FICTION – “SATELLITE”

TINY HABITS – “ANYTHING HE WAS” (FEAT. MATTY HEALY)
Folk trio Tiny Habits have anounced their sophomore album, Keepers , which will be out August 28 via Mom + Pop and the first single features The 1975’s Matty Healy. The band say: “‘Anything He Was’ speaks to a specific loneliness brought on by someone else’s discontent. They’re constantly using you to fill a space that can only be filled by someone else who is no longer there for them. Knowing this deep down, you still try; you show up. You make them laugh. You’re intimate with them. You perform gestures of kindness and grandeur in hopes that someday it’ll be enough, that your hard work will blossom into something more than just a bittersweet delusion. But it won’t (womp womp). You’ll never amount to them or the cherished moments they shared together. To those who share this experience (current or past), may this song soothe that loneliness and be a little gift on your path to find the love that you deserve.”

GIZMO – “GIFT SHOP”
Canadian band Gizmo will release their debut album, All Your Worships , on October 2 via Victory Pool. The album was co-produced and mixed by Alex Edkins (METZ/Weird Nightmare) and Loel Campbell (Wintersleep) and this is the countrified lead single.

TONY JAY – “FAITHLESS”
Mike Ramos of Cindy leads San Francisco’s Tony Jay who are prepping the first vinyl edition of Faithless which was previously released as a Japan-only tour cassette. If you like slowcore and the dreamiest extremes of shoegaze, the album’s title track is a warm hug.

DAINE – “PQC”
Ahead of their tour with Ninajirachi, Filipino-Australian artist daine has released this sunny, danceable new song. “‘PQC’ is a total embrace of failure, in all its glory,” daine says. “An optimistic love letter to oversensitivity. It explores the strength and softness it takes to show yourself to the world…the erosion of your boundaries – the courage to be publicly hated and feel it all. It is an ecstatic forgiveness of self and the world.”

SLEEP – “HAVE SPACESUIT, WILL TRAVEL”
Long-running stoner/doom greats Sleep are back but they look a little different . There’s a new lineup of the band with co-founder and guitarist Matt Pike (of High on Fire) out of the band, leaving bassist/vocalist Al Cisneros as the sole original member, and Melvins’ Dale Crover as the new drummer.
