Boards of Canada Unveil Two New Tracks from Upcoming Album After 13-Year Hiatus
Boards of Canada have released "Introit" and "Prophecy At 1420 MHz," the introductory tracks from their new album, *Inferno*, marking their first new music in 13 years.
Boards of Canada will release Inferno , their first album in 13 years, in less than a month, and they’ve now shared two songs from it.
Specifically, they’ve shared the opening two tracks. “Introit” is just that, spacey ambience that leads into “Prophecy At 1420 MHz” which is engaging, upbeat and distinctly, eerily Boards of Canada. It’s a promising first taste of the album and you can watch the video below.
Inferno will be out May 29 via Warp and there are listening parties happening in a few cities around the world on May 22, including one in NYC at Judson Memorial Church (sold out).
