Turnover Announce New Album ‘Down on Earth,’ Release Two Singles

Turnover have announced their sixth album, Down on Earth , due out May 29. It’s the follow-up to 2022’s Myself in the Way and their first independent release. It was produced by their regular front-of-house engineer Zac Montez, and the cover art is by photographer Nick Waplington. “I wanted to use a photo because photos stay with me in a more familiar way,” bassist Danny Dempsey says. “I also buy a lot of photo books and love to see a well known photographer working with musicians. I’ve been a big fan of Nick’s stuff and something that felt out of reach turned out to be easy and fun. The photo feels like it could be any time in history to me. Today. Tomorrow. 50 years ago. 50 years into the future. And I’m not sure if I want to be there or not. It just pulls me in. Turnover will be on tour in North America with Narrow Head and She’s Green starting in June, including NYC’s Governors Ball and a festival aftershow at Warsaw on June 4 . Tickets to the aftershow go on sale Friday, May 7 at 10 AM ET, and you can see all dates below.
