L7 Announces Farewell Tour, Including a BrooklynVegan Presale for NYC Show

Grunge/metal icons L7 reunited in 2015 after initially being active from 1985-2001, but they’re now calling it a day again. They’ve announced what they’re calling “the first leg of their farewell world tour,” the “Last Hurrah Tour,” which runs through North America in the fall. They also have a few shows supporting Amyl and the Sniffers in June, and you can see all dates below.

Donita Sparks writes (via Pitchfork ), “When L7 decided to release a documentary in 2015, we thought maybe we would take one last victory lap around the sun by playing some shows. Instead, that lap turned into eleven more years of touring, sweat, new music, and reconnecting with the fans who made this all possible in the first place. Looking out into the crowd seeing longtime supporters rocking out next to a new generation of L7 fans has been the most powerful and humbling part of this chapter. We are deeply grateful and ready to give our audiences one last, loud, fun, and hopefully unforgettable night of rock & roll.”

The NYC show is at Knockdown Center on October 24 . Get tickets on BrooklynVegan Presale starting Friday, May 8 at 10 AM ET with the presale password BVL726 (password will come up automatically).
