Mýa Signs Worldwide Representation Deal With WME
Grammy-winning artist Mýa, known for her singing, dancing, and acting, has signed a global representation deal with WME, covering music, touring, brand partnerships, film, TV, and theater.
Award-winning singer, dancer and actress Mýa has signed with WME for worldwide representation in all areas, the agency announced Thursday.
With the deal, WME will work with the multihyphenate star across music, touring, brand partnerships, film, television, theater, documentary, licensing, publishing, fashion, wellness, lifestyle and new business opportunities.
Mýa released her latest studio album, RETROSPECT, May 15 via Planet9/Virgin Music Group. It’s her first full-length LP in eight years, drawing inspiration from genres including funk, soul R&B and dance.
Since breaking onto the music scene with her 1998 debut album, Mýa has released hit songs like “It’s All About Me,” “My Love Is Like… Wo,” “Movin’ On,” “Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)” with Pras and Ol’ Dirty Bastard and the smash single “Lady Marmalade,” a Grammy Award-winning collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and P!NK.
She has also established herself on the big and small screens, appearing in the Academy Award-winning film Chicago, which also won a SAG Award for ensemble cast. She was also featured in Cursed , Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights , Shall We Dance? , NCIS , Dancing with the Stars and more.
