Ceremony Announce First Album in Seven Years, Plus Tour and New Single "Death Destruction Mayhem"

Ceremony released their first new song in over 5 years, “Other Hells,” back in April, and now they’ve announced a new album. Tell Me Your Dream , their seventh album and first since 2019’s In the Spirit World Now , is due out on August 7 via Relapse. Preorder on neon green vinyl or CD in the BV shop .

John Reis of Rocket from the Crypt (who also worked on 2015’s The L-Shaped Man ) produced, and guitarist-keyboardist Anthony Anzaldo says, “John sort of joined the band on this one. We could not respect him more as a guitarist, as a singer, as a songwriter. He understands what it’s like to be in every position. So we really gave him the keys.”

The album includes “Other Hells,” and they’ve shared the second single, straight-ahead post-punk song “Death Destruction Mayhem.” Watch the video below.

Ceremony have also announced a North American tour, beginning on September 9 in Montreal and running through November 20 in Los Angeles. See all dates below.

The NYC show is at Warsaw on October 2 . Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, June 19 at 10 AM local.
