Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota, will debut June 20 featuring an all-Minnesotan lineup including Motion City Soundtrack, Ber, Rocket Club, and School of Rock, hosted by Saturday Night Live cast member Tommy Brennan and with $20 tickets.

The event marks the opening of the Twin Cities metro area’s newest summer concert venue, featuring an evening of Minnesota music, comedy and community. Another headliner is forthcoming, according to the announcement.

The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund, supporting Minnesota’s restaurant workers and businesses.

Presale begins on Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the general onsale Friday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m.

Mystic Lake Amphitheater’s first concert season includes more than 35 concerts of multiple genres, as well as community gatherings and private events. The season kicks off June 22 with mgk, followed by artists including Dave Matthews Band, Bob Dylan, Lil Wayne with 2 Chainz, Hilary Duff, Chris Stapleton, Kesha, Guns N Roses and more into late September.

The 19,000-capacity amphitheater was purpose-built for live music, featuring unobstructed sightlines and an outdoor plaza overlooking the Minnesota River Valley. Accessible pricing is promised throughout the venue, with $2 hot dogs, $5 beer, $3 snacks, and other favorites priced at $7. The venue is part of the broader, $400 million entertainment district development near Cantebury Park.

Premium spaces and perks include dedicated entrances, premium parking, and VIP club access, including first-of-its-kind bunker suites just 125 feet from the stage and hospitality including pre-order catering and exclusive access to the Vinyl Room, according to the announcement from promoter Live Nation.

“Our fans in Minnesota will soon have a world-class outdoor amphitheater they can call their own, with a lineup spanning every genre,” says Josh Lacey, Live Nation’s Minnesota Market President, in the announcement. “What better way to celebrate the opening of this new home for summer concert memories than with an evening of Minnesota music, comedy and community? With $20 tickets and an eclectic lineup of homegrown talent, it’s a night designed to bring fans together and give back locally.”
