Demi Lovato Joined by Pabllo Vittar for "Cool for the Summer" at Rock in Rio
Demi Lovato concluded a career-spanning Rock in Rio set with a surprise performance of "Cool for the Summer," featuring Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar. The finale followed material from It's Not That Deep and fan favorites.

Demi Lovato took the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio on Saturday delivering a career-spanning set that mixed material from her latest album, It’s Not That Deep, with some of the biggest songs from her back catalog.
But she saved the night’s biggest surprise for last: Brazilian pop star and drag queen Pabllo Vittar joined her for “Cool for the Summer.”
Together, Lovato and Vittar performed the 2015 hit to close out the set, giving one of Lovato’s signature songs a distinctly Brazilian twist. One of Brazil’s biggest pop stars and among the world’s most prominent drag performers, Vittar has built an international following through collaborations with artists including Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, and Rina Sawayama.
The surprise appearance capped a set that leaned heavily into familiar favorites, including “Heart Attack,” “Give Your Heart a Break,” “Really Don’t Care,” “Stone Cold,” and “Skyscraper.” Lovato also performed “Solo,” her 2018 collaboration with Clean Bandit, alongside newer material representing the latest chapter of her pop career.
