The biggest upgrade is the addition of Bose’s TrueSpatial Technology, which is designed to make music and video feel more immersive by creating a wider, fuller soundstage. There are also two listening modes to play around with: Immersive Audio for music and video, and Cinema Mode, which spatializes compatible content while keeping dialogue centered.

I’ve been lucky enough to test some of Bose’s other headphones along with its portable and waterproof speakers, and the brand has consistently impressed me with how much technology it packs into its products.
