Lindsey Jordan of Snail Mail Performs "Go West" with Liz Phair in Denver

Before she started her Snail Mail project, Lindsey Jordan had a Liz Phair cover band called Lizard Phair. In 2018, Jordan and Phair did a Pitchfork interview together (with former Stereogummer Claire Lobenfeld, shout out) and Jordan said, "I would have thought of something better if I knew I would have had to say it to your face." Right now, Phair is touring with fellow '90s indie greats Sleater-Kinney, and Snail Mail, coming off the release of her recent album Ricochet , is opening some of those shows. On Monday night, she got to perform a Liz Phair song with the real Liz Phair.
