Taylor Swift and Cat Olivia Benson Join Emmys' Law & Order SVU Sketch
Taylor Swift, accompanied by her cat Olivia Benson, made a surprise appearance in an "SVU" sketch at the Emmys, helping Detectives Benson and Ice-T solve a case after a series of nominee references.
During the 2026 Emmy Awards , a pre-taped sketch featuring the Law & Order cast got some extra juice with a surprise appearance by Taylor Swift . The bit involved Emmys host Mariska Hargitay , in character as Detective Olivia Benson, rallying her team to try to figure out if Taylor Swift would be in attendance at this year’s ceremony. After going down a rabbit hole of references to this year’s nominees, a familiar-looking “rookie,” accompanied by her cat, helps Benson and Ice-T crack the case.
It’s not a surprise that Hargitay was able to bring Swift in for the bit: She was one of the many guests at Swift’s recent wedding to Travis Kelce . Watch the sketch below, and check out the full list of winners at this year’s Emmy Awards .
