The streaming service announced Wednesday (Sept. 16) that the pop star’s full collection of music videos had officially made its way to the app for premium subscribers. Users can also watch Swift’s videos via Spotify on their desktop web browsers and TVs.
Fans can choose which listening modes they prefer at any given time by clicking “Switch to audio” or “Switch to video.”
Swift has a total of 58 official videos on her resume, which Spotify has compiled into a playlist for Swifties to browse. Five of them have won video of the year at the VMAs — “Bad Blood,” “You Need to Calm Down” “All Too Well: The Short Film,” “Anti-Hero” and “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone — a record for most wins in the category for any artist.
The 14-time Grammy winner’s most recent videos — not counting the montage of Toy Story 5 scenes that make up the “I Knew It, I Knew You” visual, which is also available on Spotify — are for Billboard Hot 100 -topping Showgirl singles, “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite.”
The latter has been on Spotify since it dropped in February, as Swift jointly premiered the visual on the platform and Apple Music. Notably, less than a month prior, YouTube views on music videos stopped counting toward Billboard chart placements. The change came after YouTube announced in December that it would no longer submit data to Billboard charts in light of Billboard ‘s decision to weigh paid/subscription streams even more favorably than ad-supported streams.
