Two-time Grammy-winner Laufey has signed with Universal Music Group’s Interscope Records and Verve Records in an arrangement that reflects the fast-rising singer-songwriter’s combination of pop and jazz music.

The move follows her six years as an independent artist, during which she’s amassed more than 7 billion combined global streams across three studio albums; been named one of Time’s 2025 Women of the Year; been honored as an Icelandic Knight in her home country by its president; seen her first children’s book, “Mei Mei the Bunny,” become a New York Times Bestseller; performed backed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra and the China Philharmonic Orchestra; and recently completed a massive global tour.
