Wednesday Release New Single "June 2 (Early Version)" and Announce Bleeds Deluxe Edition

Just about a year ago, Wednesday dropped their most recent album, Bleeds . It was one of our favorite records of 2025 . Today, they return to celebrate that project’s birthday with a new Kenneth Blume -produced song, “June 2 (Early Version),” and the announcement that the deluxe version of Bleeds arrives this Friday, September 18th.

Bleeds Deluxe boasts demos and early versions of the original record’s songs, as well as remixes by Joe Harvey-Whyte, DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ, Gouge Away, Fire-Toolz, Andy Loebs, and Avey Tare. “June 2 (Early Version)” arrives as the first preview of the bonus material. What at first begins as one of the softer, more meditative cuts of Wednesday’s Bleeds- era eventually opens up in the back half, with atmospheric feedback and subdued singing giving way to distorted guitar and soaring vocals. There’s even some chugs thrown in for good measure.

Wednesday have a good few tour dates left on the books for 2027, including shows in South America and Mexico.
