BLACKPINK's Lisa Unveils Personal PlayStation Controller and Gaming Merchandise

Sony has unveiled a new collaboration with BLACKPINK ’s Lisa that includes a custom-designed PS5 controller: “I had a lot of fun adding in little details that I knew my fans would notice.”

Last year, Lisa starred in an advert for PlayStation that saw the K-pop giant having a great time playing various PS5 games including Astro Bot , soundtracked by her solo smash hit ‘Lifestyle’.

Now, PlayStation has revealed a new collaboration with Lisa that includes a custom-designed DualSense PS5 controller. The limited-edition controller will be available for £74.99 and pre-orders go live October 2 via the official PlayStation store and select retailers, ahead of a full launch on October 30. An accompanying range of PlayStation-inspired merchandise “featuring Lisa’s designs, including apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers, a DualSense controller carrying case, and more,” will also be available.

“Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax, so getting to create this collection with PlayStation was very exciting. I had a lot of fun adding in little details that I knew my fans would notice, and I wanted the fans to have something they can connect with,” Lisa said in a statement. “I’ve always loved expressing myself through music and fashion, so this collaboration gave me a new way to be creative and show a different side of myself. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”

“Fans won’t have to look far to find Lisa in the details,” added PlayStation. “From the very start, we worked closely together to incorporate elements that held personal meaning for her. Her iconic bangs and eyes take center stage on the DualSense wireless controller touch pad, joined by her signature stars and bold “LL” lettering, all set against a Chroma Pearl colourway – Lisa’s personal favourite.”

Sony have warned that the Lisa X PlayStation collab will only be available in “highly limited quantities”.

The collaboration comes ahead of Lisa’s new solo EP ‘Press Play’, which is due to launch October 23 and follows on from 2025’s ‘ Alter Ego ’ debut album. According to a press release, ‘Press Play’ is “a celebration of how far Lisa has come, and a reminder of where it all began. It’s her at her most personal, honouring her roots in Thailand and her rise as a global icon.”

In other news, Call Of Duty  developers Activision have published a new report claiming that video game cheats are spending $8.5billion a year with many dropping more than $1000 a year on “a temporary ego boost”.
