BTS's Jimin Posts First TikTok, Months After Account Creation

Fans are going like crazy over Jimin ‘s long-awaited TikTok debut, with the BTS star posting his very first video on his personal account on the platform Monday (Sept. 28).

In the star’s inaugural TikTok, he stands on a hill next to a beach, with cars visible down below driving on a road that cuts through the middle. Singing along to his single “Be Mine,” the star shows off his signature dynamic dance skills, popping and locking and body-rolling as a bright sun peeks over the horizon behind him.

In lieu of a caption commemorating the moment of his first post, Jimin simply shared a few hashtags: “#thisisjimin #jimin#be_mine.”

In the comments, ARMY bonded over their disbelief and excitement that the K-pop star had finally posted. “jimins first tiktok and he already ATE this bad omg,” one fan wrote, while another user exclaimed, “HE F–KING POSTED.”

“EVERYONE WAKE UP JIMIN POSTED HIS FIRST VIDEO ON TIKTOKK,” a third person wrote on X as another gushed , “woke up to jimin’s first tiktok and its a #ThisIsJimin for Be Mine.. just fell to my knees and cried life is so good.”

The star’s post comes about a month after fans first noticed that Jimin had seemingly made a solo account on TikTok, separate from BTS’ profile — which, at press time, has more than 80 million followers. He becomes the fourth of seven band members to make an individual page on the site, joining V, j-hope and Jung Kook. SUGA, RM and Jin remain the only bandmates without personal profiles.

And while Jimin is just now boosting “Be Mine” on a TikTok account of his own, the track is more than two years old. It appears on his 2024 solo album MUSE, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 . He’s currently on the road with his BTS bandmates supporting the group’s album Arirang , which topped the U.S. albums chart.
