Camilo Announces Latin American Coffee Partnership Ahead of International Coffee Day
Camilo has teamed up with a major coffee company in Latin America, an alliance announced on September 24th, just before International Coffee Day. He noted that "coffee is always the excuse to come together" in discussing the collaboration.

Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo has partnered with coffee giant Starbucks in Latin America and the Caribbean, Billboard can announce exclusively Thursday (Sept. 24). Through this partnership — called “My Coffee. My Ritual.” — customers across participating markets in the region will experience a series of activations inspired by the Latin star’s relationship with coffee and music; the campaign will be rolling out over the coming months.

The announcement comes ahead of International Coffee Day, which is celebrated on Oct. 1.
“Coffee is a ritual that keeps me in the present moment,” Camilo said in a statement. “It’s the ritual that marks the day’s most sacred moment: the start of my morning, when I look inward, write in my journals and connect with myself. And then, during the day, coffee is the ritual that connects me with others, with my friends and family. Coffee is always the excuse to come together. So, I’m excited to share this ritual with the whole community around me too, because I feel it’s one more excuse to connect and have more things in common.”
“For decades, Starbucks has brought together coffee and music to create experiences that foster connection and enrich everyday moments,” said Ricardo Arias-Nath, senior vice president, Global Coffee and Tea and president, Starbucks Latin America and the Caribbean. “Coffee often becomes part of the rituals that shape our daily lives, while music has the power to elevate those moments and bring people together in meaningful ways. Through our partnership with Camilo, we’re excited to celebrate those personal rituals and create new opportunities for customers across Latin America and the Caribbean to connect through the things they love most: coffee, music and each other.”
As part of the collaboration, Camilo will create a “My Coffee. My Ritual.” playlist featuring tracks from his latest album, Para Cuando Sean Mayores , alongside previous hits from his career. The songs will play in participating Starbucks coffeehouses across the region during special coffee tastings throughout October. Additionally, select customers in participating markets will have opportunities to take part in curated Starbucks x Camilo experiences inspired by the rituals that bring people together and designed to celebrate Camilo’s fan community, La Tribu.
During the launch of “My Coffee. My Ritual.” on Thursday, Camilo visited Hacienda Alsacia, Starbucks’ global agronomy headquarters and first coffee farm in Costa Rica, where the 2026 Starbucks LAC Barista Championship was taking place. According to the press release, the singer met coffee farmers, learned more about the journey from bean to cup and connected with Starbucks baristas from across Latin America and the Caribbean.
A six-time Latin Grammy winner, Camilo is one of the most successful Latin singer-songwriters of his generation. On the Billboard charts, hits including “Millones,” “Baloncito Viejo” with Carlos Vives and “Vida de Rico” have reached No. 1 on Latin Airplay , while his sets Por Primera Vez (2020) and Mis Manos (2021) both entered the top five of Top Latin Albums . His most recent album is Para Cuando Sean Mayores , a heartfelt love letter to his daughters.
