DIIV Debuts New Music, Covers Charli XCX at São Paulo's Balaclava Fest
At Balaclava Fest in São Paulo on Sunday, DIIV showcased new tracks from their upcoming A. G. Cook-produced album, ZIRP!, alongside a cover of Charli XCX's "Playboy Bunny." The new album is set to release next month.
Sunday, DIIV performed at Balaclava Fest in São Paulo, Brazil. They played some new songs, off their forthcoming A. G. Cook-produced album ZIRP! coming out next month, and they also covered an entirely different Cook-produced track: Charli XCX's " Playboy Bunny ."
Their set featured live debuts for released singles " The Fountain " and " Kid ." It also had live debuts for unreleased songs "Dare Me," "My Star," and "Trillions." Then there was their take on one of the B-sides from Charli's Music, Fashion, Film , which they turned swirly and electrifying.
