Diljit Dosanjh Caps Record-Breaking Wembley Stadium Summer of Music

The final notes have rung out at Wembley Stadium connected by EE for 2026, marking the end of the biggest summer of music in the venue’s history . Across 98 nights between June and September, Wembley Stadium hosted a record-breaking 34 concerts and welcomed more than 2.5 million music fans through its turnstiles.

The summer brought a stellar line-up of global artists, with Harry Styles, Luke Combs and Diljit Dosanjh all writing their names into the Wembley history books.

Capital’s Summertime Ball set the tone for the summer, with stars including RAYE, Niall Horan, Calvin Harris, and Jason Derulo taking to the Wembley stage alongside Myles Smith, Lola Young and Sienna Spiro.

Harry Styles then began his record-breaking summer with an unprecedented 12-night run of his “Together, Together” tour. Earning a Guinness World Records title for the longest residency in one single run by an artist at Wembley Stadium , Styles set a new benchmark at the venue.

My Chemical Romance marked the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade with three shows as part of their “Long Live The Black Parade” tour. The three performances were the biggest shows the band ever played in the UK.

The historic summer also saw Bruno Mars take over Wembley Stadium with his “Romantic Tour” for an incredible six nights, one of the longest runs of the season, as the global superstar returned to the venue for the first time since the 2017 Capital Summertime Ball.

Country superstar Luke Combs also made history this summer, becoming the first solo country artist to headline Wembley Stadium and earning a Guinness World Record in the process. Combs went on to perform three consecutive nights under the arch, July 31– Aug.2, moving a total 232,495 tickets, and grossing $26,459,745, according to the box office reports from promoters AEG Presents and SJM Concerts.

The Weeknd then returned for five nights in August with his “After Hours Til Dawn Tour”. The five-night run, which moved 367,997 tickets, and grossed $58,214,018, Aug. 14-19, according to the box office reports submitted for the shows by promoter Live Nation, involved one of the biggest stages ever built at Wembley, alongside a spectacular firework and pyrotechnic display.

Bon Jovi made a much-anticipated return to Wembley for three nights at the start of September, performing some of the band’s biggest hits. It was the fourth time the band played at Wembley, including two runs at the old stadium.

Diljit Dosanjh completed the biggest summer ever, adding another historic milestone by becoming the first South Asian artist to headline Wembley Stadium, underlining the international breadth of Wembley’s record-breaking season.

Alongside the record 34 concerts, Wembley Stadium also hosted AEW All In: London, taking the total number of major events staged across the 98-night period to 35.
