Dolly Parton's Nephew, Bryan Seaver, Exits Head of Security Role After 20+ Years

Dolly Parton ’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, is no longer head of security at her properties after serving in the role for over 20 years, according to TMZ .

In a new report, TMZ said Seaver was sent a termination notice last Wednesday, immediately dismissing him and his security companies from every Dolly property. Replacement guards have since taken control of the late country legend’s main Nashville home, museum, downtown residence, and warehouse.

Seaver inherited his position as Parton’s head of security from his father, Larry Seaver. His introduction to the public came via an August 25th Instagram video announcing his aunt’s death, a task he said he had been assigned many years before.

Speaking to TMZ, Seaver and his team blamed Parton’s longtime manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank, saying they are “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions.”

“We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family, and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,” they added.

According to TMZ, the properties and Parton’s professional business interests are held by the DP Dean Trust, where Seaver’s personal interest remains intact.

Parton died in Nashville on August 25th after a brief battle with cancer.
