Fort Bend Epicenter Appoints Ernest ‘Chuly’ Diaz as Exclusive Booking Agent and Talent Buyer

The Ford Bend Epicenter, an 8,600-seat arena in Rosenberg, Texas, recently named longtime Houston concert promoter Ernest “Chuly” Diaz as its exclusive booking agent and talent buyer.

Diaz was brought on to help the venue build out its live entertainment business. He’s worked in the Lone Star State for over three decades, building longstanding relationships with artists, managers and agencies. He already has several projects in development, and he plans to build out the calendar with hip-hop and urban, Latin, country, pop, EDM, Christian music, and comedy acts, as well as special events.

“I’m excited about this new chapter with Fort Bend Epicenter and the opportunity to bring some incredible artists and live entertainment to the Houston market,” Diaz said. “I’ve been doing this in Texas for over 30 years, and I know this market inside and out. I’m excited to bring some great shows, great artists, and unforgettable nights to the people of H-Town and Fort Bend County. We’re just getting started.”

The Fort Bend Epicenter is about five minutes from Sugar Land, and the 230,000-square-foot complex includes an arena that can seat up to 10,000 guests for a concert or sporting event.

Diaz and the venue begin their partnership with H-Town Hip Hop Showdown on Oct. 24, featuring DaBaby, French Montana, Yung Miami, G Herbo, DJ Alex Sensation, Z-Ro, Slim Thug and more.
