Jay Wright Rises to Northeast Large-Capacity Agent at Universal Attractions Agency

Universal Attractions Agency has promoted Jay Wright to Northeast large-capacity agent, where he will oversee all hip-hop and R&B bookings in venues with a capacity of 1,500 or more in his territory.

Wright’s client roster includes Sleepy Hallow, Styles P, Jon B, Lyfe Jennings, Barrington Levy, The Stylistics, Regina Belle, Evelyn Champagne King, Inner Circle, Trina, S.O.S Band, and J.I. The Prince of New York. ​ Wright’s role previously was as Northeast club and theater agent (1,499 capacity and under).

“Jay’s earned this,” said Nick Martucci, GM at Universal Attractions Agency. “He came up through the ranks and has put in the time and effort to get here. He’s dependable, creative, and a great communicator, and buyers and artists alike respect his work. We’re excited to see what comes next for him and the department.”

Wright joined UAA in January 2023 as an intern and was hired in April, as he finished his last months of college.

He is a proud alum of St. John’s University, where he majored in psychology and minored in music.
