The Colombian rockstar launched his 30-date Juanes World Tour 2026 on Sept. 3 in Orlando, Fla., celebrating 25 years of his solo career with a career-spanning set that includes “La Camisa Negra,” “A Dios le Pido,” “Es Por Ti” and “Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor,” alongside songs from his latest 2026 album, JuanesTeban .

Juanes tells Billboard that he prepares for each show with a daily 40-minute vocal routine, constant guitar practice and rehearsals with his band. He and his team also worked with creative collaborators from Argentina on the tour’s lighting, visuals and stage design.

“I love for people to go to the show and for it to be one surprise after another from beginning to end,” he says. “We organize everything through harmony or the BPM of each song, as if you were a DJ at a party.”

In the interview, the Colombian singer and guitarist — known for his many No. 1 hits on the Hot Latin Songs chart, including “Me Enamora,” “La Camisa Negra,” and “Fotografía” — reflects on the 25th anniversary of Un Día Normal. The album, which topped the Top Latin Albums chart and spent 104 weeks on the tally, serves as a milestone in his career. Juanes also opens up about his creative evolution, his passion for painting, Colombian traditions, and the secret behind his famously youthful hair. In June, Juanes joined fellow Colombian stars Carlos Vives, Fonseca and Camilo for Billboard Español ’s historic cover story on soccer, fatherhood and their country’s spirit.
