Louisville Kings to Host UFL 2027 Season Kickoff on March 26

Fresh off a United Bowl championship in their inaugural year, the Louisville Kings and their fans have been rewarded with a home game at Lynn Family Stadium to kick off the United Football League’s 2027 season.

The game will take place on March 26 at 8:00 PM/ET and air nationally on FOX, launching the third year of “FOX UFL Friday” – a dedicated night of UFL action taking place each Friday during the 10-week UFL regular season.

Lynn Family stadium has a total capacity of 15,304 spectators, which includes 11,600 permanent seats with the remaining capacity accounted for via standing-room sections. In addition to the Kings, the venue is home to the Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC. The stadium is owned by Soccer Holdings, LLC, the parent company that also owns the stadium’s soccer tenants, and is operated by ASM Global.

After opening their maiden 2026 campaign with three straight losses, the Kings made an impressive comeback winning six of their final seven contests, capped by a four-game winning streak to close the regular season with a 6-4 record. They defeated the St. Louis Battlehawks on the road in the playoffs and subsequently rallied against the DC Defenders in the United Bowl championship at Audi Field earning a 27-20 victory.

The Kings ultimately saw 18 players from their 2026 roster earn NFL training camp opportunities with three of those players, including DB Deantre Prince (Chicago Bears), WR Lucky Jackson (Detroit Lions) and CB Bryce Hall (Houston Texans) remaining on NFL practice squads.

Season tickets for the Kings are on sale with ticket packages starting at $75 for all five home games at Lynn Family Stadium.

The spring football league, which is owned by Mike Repole and Impact Capital, RedBird Capital Partners, FOX, Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and ESPN, features eight teams: the Columbus Aviators, Dallas Renegades, DC Defenders, Louisville Kings, Orlando Storm, St. Louis Battlehawks, and two new markets to be announced for 2027.

Additional 2027 UFL schedule and programming details will be announced at a later date.
