Sam Balaban will be producing, directing and editing the live special, while Bart Peters serves as the original live performance director. There will be contributions from E. Dan and Justin Boyd as well.

The Divine Feminine arrived in September 2016 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 48,000 total album-equivalent units earned. TDF featured Mac’s new girlfriend at the time and pop supernova Ariana Grande , Anderson .Paak , Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign and CeeLo Green.

Album standout “Cinderella” experienced a massive resurgence this summer, as a TikTok trend caused the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted eight-minute expedition exploring love and lust to explode and reach the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at No. 25. It’s Mac’s second-highest charting single as a lead artist and still surging as “Cinderella” also hit the top 10 of the latest Rhythmic Airplay chart.
