Treks to New York for this self-proclaimed theater nerd always includes two things: Seeing as many shows as possible and daily visits to Schmackerys for their delicious cookies. Packing a four day weekend with seven shows doesn't allow a lot of time for dining, so grabbing a slice of pie or a hot dog from a street vendor become dining staples. Now that some producers have moved their matinees to Thursday, it makes seven shows possible: Matinee and evening performances on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a single show on Friday evening. Planning is essential to know what shows have matinees on Thursday and what show are not dark on Sunday evenings.
