Céline Dion hijacks *Titanic* – the internationally acclaimed musical comedy *Titaníque* comes to Börsen in Stockholm.

*Titanic*, Céline Dion’s timeless hits, and delightfully zany musical comedy. The international audience hit *Titaníque* is coming to Sweden, premiering at Börsen in Stockholm on January 15, 2027. Edvin Törnblom and Alma Bengtsson star as Jack and Rose, while Linda Olsson steps aboard as Céline Dion. Edward af Sillén is responsible for direction and translation. What happens when Céline Dion hijacks one of cinema history’s most iconic love stories and decides to tell the real story of what happened aboard the *Titanic*? The answer is *Titaníque*—the acclaimed musical comedy that transforms Jack and Rose’s epic romance into a musical celebration packed with Céline Dion’s greatest hits, razor-sharp humor, and pop-culture nods. Since its debut in New York, *Titaníque* has grown from a cult phenomenon into an international success. The show has enjoyed great success on both London’s West End and Broadway, winning two Olivier Awards in 2025. In the spring of 2026, it made the leap to Broadway and was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Now, *Titaníque* is coming to Sweden for the first time. "Titaníque is wonderfully entertaining musical comedy that pokes fun at everything and everyone. It takes both Céline Dion’s music and *Titanic* deadly seriously—while simultaneously going completely off the rails. There is also a playfulness and direct connection with reveal the "true" tale of Jack and Rose—featuring big emotions, a healthy dose of diva attitude, and Céline herself at the helm. And the music takes center stage in a major way. To the strains of "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," "Because You Loved Me," "I’m Alive," and several of Céline Dion’s timeless hits, *Titanic* is resurrected on stage. Grand musical numbers, a live band, and a cast with extraordinary voices make the music just as vital a part of *Titaníque* as the humor. At the same time, *Titaníque* marks the start of a new chapter for Börsen.

Following its recent reopening, Börsen is now evolving into a dedicated theater venue. *Titaníque* is presented in a pure theatrical format—eschewing the traditional dinner-show setup—with a singular focus on the stage, the music, and the story.

In the Swedish production, Edvin Törnblom plays Jack and Alma Bengtsson plays Rose, while Linda Olsson takes on the role of Céline Dion. The cast also features Hanna Hedlund, Kim Sulocki, Anton Lundqvist, Martin Redhe Nord, and Kayo Shekoni, accompanied by a chorus and a live band. "This is exactly the kind of project I love—big, over-the-top, smart, and totally crazy. I love both *Titanic* and this style of humor, so getting to do it as a musical and step into the role of Jack in *Titaníque* is incredibly excit the audience, meaning no two nights are ever exactly alike," says Edward af Sillén. In the universe of *Titaníque*, Céline Dion holds a somewhat different view of what actually happened on that fateful night in the Atlantic. Here, she steps into the story herself toing. And I have a feeling the audience will quickly realize that this isn't quite the Jack they remember from the movie," says Edvin Törnblom. No two performances of *Titaníque* are exactly alike. Improvisation, direct interaction with the audience, topical commentary, and pop-culture references are all part of the show’s playful nature—allowing *Titaníque* to constantly live in the moment.

Whether you know *Titanic* by heart, have Céline Dion on repeat, or are simply ready for something completely different, a truly unique musical experience awaits. *Titaníque* premieres at Börsen in Stockholm on January 15 and runs through the spring of 2027.
