Soccer Mommy Drops New Track "Rings Of Saturn"
Soccer Mommy, who rose to prominence in the late 2010s alongside Snail Mail, has released her latest song, "Rings Of Saturn." This new release continues the artist's prolific career which has helped define an era of music.

When they emerged in the late 2010s, Soccer Mommy and Snail Mail not only piled up a wealth of great music, they helped to define an era of this very website. I will always mentally lump them together, so it makes perfect sense to me that, about a decade into their careers, they're heading out on a co-headlining tour.
Ahead of that outing, Sophie Allison is back with her first new Soccer Mommy song since the release of 2024's Evergreen . Produced by Elliott Kozel, "Rings Of Saturn" is billed as the start of a new era for Soccer Mommy. "I feel like I'm losin' all the time," Allison sings over fuzzed-out chords on the chorus. She shared this context:
> This song is about feeling lost and looking for hope from anywhere. I wrote it during a difficult time when I would often take my telescope out into the yard to look at the moon or at planets. There’s something about feeling small that can kind of take the weight off.
On Bandcamp, even more succinctly, she offers, "this one’s for all the stargazers out there." Listen below.
