Soundtrack Details for Apple TV’s New Comedy ‘Brothers’ Starring McConaughey and Harrelson

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have reunited for Brothers , a new comedy series on Apple TV – but what songs feature on the soundtrack? Find out below.

The eight-part series sees the longtime friends play fictionalised versions of themselves, whose relationship is thrown into chaos when they discover that they might actually be biological brothers.

After Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, he brings his family to Matthew’s Texas ranch, where Matthew’s mother Ma Mac (Holland Taylor) inadvertently reveals a decades-old secret about their respective fathers.

The premise riffs on a real-life story the pair have discussed publicly. In 2023, McConaughey said his mother had told him and Harrelson that she “knew” Harrelson’s father during a period when she was separated from her husband, with Harrelson subsequently saying there was “some veracity” to the possibility that they could be related .

Showrun by Lee Eisenberg, Brothers also stars Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan and Oona Yaffe.

The first two episodes arrived on September 23, with a new instalment set to follow every Wednesday until the finale on November 4.

What songs are on the ‘Brothers’ soundtrack?

The series mixes country and classic rock throughout its opening episodes, with tracks by Waylon Jennings , Ozzy Osbourne and Heart among those used so far.

‘Give A Little Bit’, performed by former Supertramp frontman Roger Hodgson, also serves as the show’s recurring opening theme.

The original score, meanwhile, was composed by Nick Sena and Zachary Dawes.
