Taylor Hanson Partners with WME for Worldwide Representation

Taylor Hanson, the GRAMMY-nominated musician, songwriter, and producer, has signed with WME for worldwide representation in all areas, per an official press release.

Hanson’s claim to fame came in 1997, when he was a young teen, when HANSON, the band he formed with his brothers Isaac and Zac, released their major-label debut, Middle of Nowhere . The album’s infectious lead single “MMMBop” became a global hit, reaching #1 in 27 countries. That album and the band’s subsequent releases on both major labels and their own independent label (3CG Records) earned them critical acclaim, including three GRAMMY nominations and multiple Top 40 hits worldwide.

Most recently, Hanson was a contestant on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. The Oklahoma and Los Angeles-based musician is also working on his debut solo album, planned for release in 2027.

Hanson was also part of supergroup Tinted Windows with Bun E Carlos (Cheap Trick), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins) and Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne). He has worked with a diverse group of artists both as a member of HANSON and solo, ranging from writing with Carole King and Weil and Mann, to collaborations with Owl City, AWOLNATION, Blues Traveler and Cory Wong.

In addition to his work as a musician, Hanson is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and activist. In 2014, he founded Food On The Move, which distributes millions of pounds of fresh produce to members of the Oklahoma community, and has become a leader in the movement to end food deserts and reshape sustainable local food systems. Taylor has been a long-time advocate for music education and music in schools, as well as advocating for equitable laws and industry standards, including work with Save The Music, MusiCares, GrammyU, and his current work as National co-chair of Advocacy for the Recording Academy. He has served on the board of various nonprofits, including the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History and the Will Rogers Foundation, and is currently a National Trustee for the Recording Academy.
