Anderson .Paak and Cordae, who have a long collaborative history, team up for a new song called “A Good Day.” Their latest joint effort follows past work together dating back to Cordae's YBN era.
Anderson .Paak and Cordae may not actually be step brothers, despite what the above cover art implies, but the rappers have a long history of collaborations dating all the way back when Cordae was still going by YBN Cordae. That partnership is about to be cemented on the new co-headline album Heavy Is The Crown , due out next month. They're promoting it with "A Good Day," a warm and vibrant traditionalist hip-hop track built around a sample of Bill Withers' "Lovely Day." Music video OG Dave Meyers directed the video, a Friday homage starring Jennifer Freeman. Check it out:
