Braves Tap Ray Kerr for Game 2 vs. Dodgers, Chris Sale Now Starts Game 3
The Braves have altered their pitching rotation against the Dodgers, naming Ray Kerr as the Game 2 starter for Sunday and rescheduling Chris Sale to pitch in Game 3.

The Atlanta Braves have adjusted their pitching plans against the Los Angeles Dodgers , instead starting Ray Kerr in Game 2 on Sunday and pushing back Chris Sale to Game 3 of the National League Division Series.
The Dodgers have a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series.
Because Sale was needed in relief -- after just one day of rest -- during Game 3 of the NL Wild Card series against the Philadelphia Phillies , the Braves opted to give him additional rest instead of having him take the mound on Sunday.
Kerr was the surprise starter in the clincher vs. the Phillies, throwing 3⅓ scoreless innings in his postseason debut. He will be making his fifth career start on Sunday as the Braves will stage a second straight bullpen game against the Dodgers.
