David Guetta and Maisie Peters Join The O2's 20th Anniversary Celebration

AEG has begun the countdown to The O2’s 20th anniversary celebrations next year, which will launch in May 2027 and run throughout the summer.

According to AEG, which owns and operates the iconic building, the 20th anniversary shows, including multi-night residencies, one-off special performances and exclusive shows, “will open a new chapter in the venue’s history, bringing together an exciting and diverse line-up of artists spanning rising stars to global icons across a range of genres.”

The first confirmed artist was British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters , who will perform her debut headline show at The O2 on Saturday, May 8, 2027, ahead of the release of her anticipated new album Florescence, due to be released May 22. Peters represents the next generation of talent to take to The O2 stage, ushering in a new era of headliners and reflecting the venue’s ongoing commitment in presenting artists from grassroots to the global stage.

“Being the first artist announced for The O2’s 20th birthday celebration is honestly such an honor. I’ve been a fan of the venue for as long as I can remember and have watched so many shows there, so getting to step onto that stage for my own headline show feels like a real dream come true. The O2 holds so many iconic moments, and to be part of the very start of its next chapter makes this moment even more special and I can’t wait to share it with my fans,” commented Maisie Peters.

The second confirmed artists to perform as part of the O2’s 20th birthday lineup has been a headliner for decades: David Guetta , who’ll bring his Monolith show to London on Saturday, June 5, 2027, promoted by independent UK promoted Labyrinth Events. The show will mark Guetta’s only UK 2027 indoor show and only London show in 2027.

The O2 Turns 15: ‘A Living, Breathing Music Machine’

The two-time Grammy winner has been touring Monolith across Europe, topped off by three nights at Stade de France in Paris, where he sold more than 240,000 tickets (the exact figures hadn’t yet been reported to Pollstar Boxoffice at the time of this writing).

David Guetta commented, “I’m super excited to bring The Monolith Show to The O2. It’s been an incredible summer, with some outstanding Monolith shows across Germany, Belgium and Portugal, and I’m still thinking about the crazy memories from those three stadium shows at Stade de France. I can’t wait to bring that energy to London and experience it with everyone at The O2. London has always been a very special city for me, so playing my biggest show there to date means a lot.”

2027 will also mark more than two decades of partnership between the venue and headline sponsor O2, who have worked together in close collaboration since the venue’s inception. The relationship is one of the UK’s longest-standing and most-recognizable naming rights partnerships, and O2 customers continue to benefit from it. Over the past two decades, O2 has sold more than four million tickets to shows at The O2 to its customers via Priority, the platform which offers fans access to tickets 48 hours before general sale and a host of perks from drinks discounts to queue jumps.

O2 customers will also have priority access to the tickets for the anniversary lineup.
