David Guetta Announces His Largest London Performance for The O2’s 20th Anniversary

David Guetta has announced his biggest London show to date – which comes in celebration of The O2’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

The London venue opened as the Millennium Dome in December 1999, before rebranding and opening as the O2 Arena in the space’s entertainment district in June 2007. Since then, it has hosted over 3,000 shows and welcomed over 100million visitors.

To mark 20 years since it reopened its doors, a series of gigs are being held at the venue next year, and performances have already been announced from Jorja Smith , Maisie Peters and Sombr .

Now, it has been confirmed that David Guetta will be taking part in the celebrations and playing his biggest headline show to date at the venue on Saturday June 5.

The show comes as part of his ‘Monolith Tour’, which he has been rolling out at stadiums across the globe over the past couple of years.

“I’m super excited to bring ‘The Monolith Show’ to The O2,” he shared. “It’s been an incredible summer, with some outstanding ‘Monolith’ shows across Germany, Belgium and Portugal, and I’m still thinking about the crazy memories from those three stadium shows at Stade de France.

“I can’t wait to bring that energy to London and experience it with everyone at The O2. London has always been a very special city for me, so playing my biggest show there to date means a lot.”

Priority Tickets are available exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers via the Priority app from 10am on Wednesday (September 30), and the general on sale starts at 10am on Friday October 2. Visit here for tickets.

The upcoming show at The O2 comes after David Guetta joined up Sia and Afrojack last summer to perform their hit single ‘Titanium’ together for the first time ever .

Sia also stayed on stage to perform ‘Beautiful People’, her new single with Guetta . “I’m so happy to be back working with Sia again!” Guetta said about the track at its time of release. “She’s one of the greatest voices and songwriters of our generation, and it feels like we’ve had this special connection ever since we wrote ‘Titanium’ back in 2011.”
