Doves’ Jez Williams Details Debut Solo LP 'Life Of Me And You,' Shares "Hollow Man"

Last year, Doves shared their sixth studio album Constellations For The Lonely . Today, Jez Williams is announcing his debut solo LP, Life Of Me And You . The guitarist of the post-Britpop band is sharing the lead single "Hollow Man" today.

"Without resorting to clichés, 'Hollow Man' is about our modern life," he explains. "It can just so easily take the soul out of you. Too much information, too many opinions, too much change coming from all angles. Tsunamis of information coming at you. It can be overwhelming. It makes you less present and makes you more in your head. I thought to put all of that to a sort of AC/DC-style riff, breaking out into a wider chorus. It all just came out in one go."

Life Of Me And You was written, recorded, and produced by Williams in various studios. Check out "Hollow Man" below.
