GTA 6 Online Multiplayer Reportedly Delayed Until 2027

Grand Theft Auto 5 ’s online multiplayer launched October 1, 2013, a few weeks after the release of the base game. However it looks like Grand Theft Auto 6 fans will have more of a wait.

Earlier this month, Rockstar Games announced the “next evolution” of the current Grand Theft Auto Online offering , via a collab with role-playing community nopixel. During a shareholder meeting yesterday (September 17), Take Two bosses described Grand Theft Auto 6 as a “single-player title” before saying they will “continue to support GTA Online after GTA 6 releases, and beyond.

In a new interview, Twitch boss Dan Clancy said he’s “spent a lot of time” talking to Rockstar Games about their plans for Grand Theft Auto 6 and the future of Online . “We spent a lot of time helping them think about how they can engage our creators,” Clancy told Bloomberg . “You are going to see this big bump with GTA 6 , but then an even bigger one next year when they launch multiplayer.”

Yesterday, Rockstar Games announced ‘Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album’, a 34-track album featuring exclusive songs from some of the biggest artists in the world . The full soundtrack is still to be announced, but six songs from the likes of Travis Scott , Future , Fred Again.. , Morgan Wallen , Pink Pantheress and Keith Richards have been made available to stream to give you a taste of Vice City. The album is also getting a number of different vinyl and CD variants.

Grand Theft Auto 6 and ‘The Album’ both launch November 19.

In other news, it seems that gaming fans are loving  Marvel’s Wolverine despite a string of average reviews from critics. The game is currently the worst-reviewed release from game developers Insomniac but the action brawler is racking up glowing reviews from players .
