The South Korean entertainment company announced on Wednesday (October 7) that the event will take place in New Delhi on March 27–28, 2027 , marking the festival’s first edition outside South Korea .
HYBE , the home of BTS , describes Weverse Con Festival as its “flagship global music festival”.
HYBE said the two-day event will feature global, K-pop, and Indian artists.
Alongside the performances, the festival will offer fan engagement, brand activations, and cultural programming.
The company said its superfan platform Weverse will partner on the festival, extending its services into the live environment so artists and fans can connect throughout the event.
“Weverse Con Festival India marks a new chapter in our ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy and reflects our commitment to India as a key market in HYBE’s global growth,” said Jason Jaesang Lee , CEO of HYBE . “By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences.
“We look forward to bringing fans together to discover a new universe of music and unlock an immersive journey where they can connect, celebrate, and explore new possibilities alongside the artists they love.”

Tickets will be sold exclusively through BookMyShow , with the lineup and ticketing details to follow at a later date, according to HYBE .
The festival builds on HYBE’s expansion in India, where the company opened its fifth global headquarters in Mumbai in September 2025, joining its offices in Japan , the United States , Latin America , and China .
At the time, HYBE said India’s music streaming market was the second-largest in the world, with approximately 185 million users.
India is also the world’s 15th-largest recorded music market by annual revenues, according to the IFPI .
India’s media and entertainment sector grew 9% year-on-year in 2025 to INR 2.78 trillion ( $31.9 billion ) in 2025, according to EY .
The country’s music segment, however, fell 8% to INR 23 billion ( $264 million ).
HYBE INDIA , the Mumbai -based office, launched nationwide auditions in March 2026 to form a next-generation global girl group.
HYBE INDIA has said it is seeking Indian talent that can resonate with audiences worldwide.
Applications ran through July 31 and were open to girls born between 2005 and 2011 , with in-person rounds across 10 Indian cities and at locations in London, New York, Singapore, Toronto, and Sydney .
The India push forms part of HYBE’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy , under which it develops local artists and IP in markets including the United States , Japan , and Latin America .
That approach produced KATSEYE , HYBE’s first US-based girl group, formed with Universal Music Group ‘s Geffen Records .
Two of KATSEYE ‘s singles, Gnarly and Gabriela , reached the Billboard Hot 100, and the group has gone on to receive Grammy nominations and win an MTV Video Music Award.
Previous editions of Weverse Con Festival have been held in South Korea , with its most recent edition drawing a combined 34,000 in-person and online attendees in Seoul in June 2026. Music Business Worldwide
