Korn’s Fieldy and Head Reunite for Performance at New Whosoevers Venue

Korn bandmates Fieldy and Brian “Head” Welch reunited onstage Saturday for the first time in five years during a performance in Boise, Idaho.

Fieldy last played with Korn during an early 2021 livestream performance. He announced a hiatus from Korn in June of that year, at the time saying he fell back on some “bad habits,” although earlier this year he revealed that electing not to receive the COVID vaccine made it impossible for him to tour with the band. In his place, bassist Ra Diaz from Suicidal Tendencies has been playing with Korn ever since.

Head and Korn came together over the weekend at a new venue in Boise opened up by the Christian Rock collective The Whosoevers, featuring members of Korn, P.O.D, and Flyleaf.

First, Fieldy joined P.O.D.’s Sonny Sandoval for “Boom” and then Head came onstage for “Alive,” and then they both joined Sandoval and company for a cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage,” as well as a rendition of DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You” with Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm.
