Lambrini Girls Reveal New Album ‘No Refunds,’ Share Single ‘Bang Bang Bang’

Brighton punk duo Lambrini Girls have today (September 15) announced their second album, ‘No Refunds’ and dropped the incendiary new single ‘Bang Bang Bang’ – check it out below.

Set for release on January 15 via City Slang, the new album will mark the follow-up to their 2025 debut ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, and will see Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez return with a darker, more urgent record fitting for a world they say has “got even worse”.

Employing their trademark scathing social commentary and barbed humour, the album is indiscriminate in its confrontations of various modern horrors, which include AI, genocide, fascism, and the “manosphere”.

The first taste of ‘No Refunds’ arrived earlier this year with tongue-in-cheek single ‘Cult Of Celebrity’ , which saw them take aim at the corruption among the elite.

Now, ‘Bang Bang Bang’ has offered another glimpse of a record – which you can pre-order here – with Lunny describing it as being about “a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil”.

You can check out the frenetic Harv Frost-directed video for the song below.

The duo were forced to pull out of Coachella and reschedule their North American tour earlier this year  after Lunny sustained a neck fracture and an “acute brain injury” while tour in Australia. See the rescheduled dates  here  and find any remaining tickets  here .

They’re set to get back out on the road next year with an extensive run of UK and

European headline dates – which you can check out below. You can sign up for the pre-sale here .

The ‘No Refunds’ tracklist is:

‘Truth to Power’ ‘Cult of Celebrity’ ‘White Man’s World’ ‘Spilt’ ‘Succulent Chinese Meal’ ‘Bang Bang Bang’ ‘Don’t Talk To Me Until I’ve Had My Abortion’ ‘Gaza Beach’ ‘The Basement’ ‘Wake Up!’ ‘Is This AI?’

The rescheduled tour followed on from them sharing their debut album ‘ Who Let The Dogs Out ‘ last year.  NME  praised that record in a five-star review , writing: “With ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, Lambrini Girls prove punk is alive and kicking. They’re unapologetically amplifying chaos, calling out societal wrongs, and daring us all to feel something. This record is loud, raw, and impossible to ignore.”

Before then,  we spoke to them for  The Cover  in December 2024 , and the duo told us about the importance of humour in their music.

“Humour is such a good way to disarm people,” Lunny told us, with Maciera adding: “It’s like wrapping a pill in a slice of ham and feeding it to a dog. That’s what we try and do with humour and politics to make it digestible. Buy them dinner first – and then fuck ’em.”

More recently, Lambrini Girls teamed up with Music Declares Emergency for the ‘Hot Girls F*ck The System’ merch line, helping create a range of t-shirts, hoodies, joggers and caps alongside the charity, with all profits to be donated to help support action in the face of the climate emergency.
