With the tour announcement, Lambrini Girls released the furious single “The Basement” that lambasts internet chauvinist circles. The band described the song as the story of “a sad little man who gets radicalised by the manosphere” through their “sharp, darkly comic dissection of modern political culture, channeling their trademark confrontational energy.”

“Split” offers a different energy from the band. The fully acoustic track is vulnerable and confessional, confronting with “unflinching honesty” alcohol dependency. “It was exciting and challenging to do something that’s so different to the rest of the album and what we do in general, but to make it as powerful in its own way,” bassist Selin Macieira said in a statement.

The pair of songs follow “Cult of Celebrity” and “Bang Bang Bang” as previews of their upcoming album No Refunds , which comes out January 15th via City Slang Records. Fans can pre-order the album here .
