Lisa, Shaboozey, Raye, and More Confirmed for 2026 MTV VMA Performances

The MTV Video Music Awards have unveiled their performer lineup.
Lisa, Shaboozey, Raye, Sienna Spiro, GENER8ION, Gunna and Yung Lean join show opener Madonna as performers at the music -centric awards show, CBS and MTV announced Thursday.
Lisa will return to the VMA stage with the television debut of her recently released single “SaWaDiKa,” hailing from her upcoming EP, Press Play . The singer’s documentary, Always Lalisa , premiered in Toronto over the weekend, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look as the singer broke out of the K-pop system.

Raye will make her VMA performance debut. The British singer is nominated twice this year, including the song of the year category for her smash hit “Where Is My Husband!” Shaboozey will also be making his VMAs performance debut with his hit single “Cowgirl.” He’s also set to be joined by Gunna for the first broadcast performance of their collaboration “High Noon.”
Spiro, a first-time nominee, joins Shaboozey and Raye in making her VMAs performance debut. The singer’s up for best new artist. Another set of first-time performers, GENER8ION and Yung Lean, will serve up the world premiere performance of “Storm II.” The first-time nominees are up for video of the year, best direction and best choreography.
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the 2026 MTV VMAs will once again air on CBS and simulcast on MTV. They’re set to air live from Los Angeles on Sept. 27. It’s the first time the show has taken place in the city in nearly a decade — the last time being in 2017 when Katy Perry hosted the ceremony at The Forum.
The ceremony is produced by Gunpowder & Sky. Van Toffler serves as producer. Jesse Ignjatovic of Den of Thieves, Barb Bialkowski and Bruce Gillmer are set to serve as executive producers alongside Barry Barclay and Floris Bauer. Melanie Block will co-executive produce, while Gary Lanvy serves as co-producer. Snoop will also executive produce alongside producers Sara Ramaker and Jasmin Ratansi. Jen Proctor serves as executive talent producer.
Additional performers, presenters and special guests are expected to be revealed next week.
