The 2026 edition of the massive rock festival Louder Than Life in Louisville brought with it four days of scorching temperatures, as bands and fans battled heat indexes as high as 110 degrees.
Despite the heat wave and an occasional delay due to area storms, dozens of music acts played memorable sets at the Kentucky Exposition Center from Thursday, September 17th, through Sunday, September 20th.
The mighty Iron Maiden headlined on Thursday, with Pantera, Alice Cooper, Danzig, Anthrax, Megadeth, and more also on the bill.
Friday saw My Chemical Romance lead a lineup that included Pierce the Veil, The Pretty Reckless, A Day to Remember, Knocked Loose, and more
On Saturday, Limp Bizkit, Sublime, BABYMETAL, Tom Morello, Ice Nine Kills, and others performed, while Sunday closed out with Tool delivering a headlining show following sets by Gojira, Danny Elfman, Ministry, Black Label Society, and more.
