Shakira's Madrid Show Becomes Amazon Music's Most-Streamed Female Artist Performance
Shakira’s "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour" stop in Madrid on October 3 made history as the most-viewed livestream by a female artist on Amazon Music, the streamer announced.

Shakira has achieved yet another milestone with her record-breaking “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.” The Colombian star’s show in Madrid, Spain, on Oct. 3 was the most-viewed livestream by a female artist on Amazon Music, the major streamer announced Sunday.
Saturday’s show featured a surprise appearance from Dua Lipa, who joined the Latin superstar on stage for a special performance of fan-favorite “Antología,” and it was broadcast on Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch.
Amazon Music did not disclose streaming numbers, but Shakira’s record-breaking broadcast served as the centerpiece of The Women Shaping Latin Music, the 2026 edition of Amazon Music’s annual Music Connects Us campaign celebrating artists and cultural movements shaping the genre. This year’s program honors female trailblazers and celebrates those moving the music forward and creating opportunities for the next generation.
Shakira is in the final days of her 12-date residency in Madrid, where she had a custom-built Shakira Stadium for the special event. In addition to the temporary venue, which can accommodate more than 50,000 fans, the site featured a wide range of activities, from exhibitions to workshops, curated by the artist that celebrate Latin culture.
The residency was initially announced as a three-night stand, but it was extended to 12 nights due to demand. Shakira has three more nights in Spain, Oct. 9-11, before performing at Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan and at the Pyramids of Giza in Al Haram, Egypt.
