Backstreet Boys Sell 450,000 Tickets for Exclusive 10-Night Germany Residency

Backstreet Boys kicked off their ten-night European residency at Merkur Spiel Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, Sept. 25. The “Into The Millennium- Homecoming: Live in Germany” performances are the band’s only European shows of 2026 and mark a special return to the country that gave them their first-ever platinum record with “I’ll Never Break Your Heart.”

450,000 tickets sold across all ten dates, with only a few tickets remaining for the seven shows remaining at the time of this writing.

The show brings the group’s iconic, five-time GRAMMY-nominated Millennium album to life on stage, featuring beloved classics like “I Want It That Way” along with a powerful lineup of their greatest hits. Descending from the stadium roof, a nod to the group’s iconic entrance on the 1999 “Into The Millennium Tour,” the band launched into ‘Larger Than Life’ to open the show. “It proved to be an unforgettable, stadium-sized celebration of the Backstreet Boys’ legacy,” according to a press release from Live Nation GSA.

Long before they became a global phenomenon, Europe – especially Germany – was where the Backstreet Boys first found their footing. They recorded some of their biggest hits overseas and spent their first years performing across Europe, building a loyal audience show by show.

German fans were among the very first to pack venues, call radio stations, and wait outside hotels, giving the group an early glimpse of what their career would become.

“That same loyalty that filled clubs in the mid-90s is now filling stadiums. The response to the Düsseldorf dates underscores just how deeply the Backstreet Boys’ roots in Germany still run and why this return feels especially meaningful,” the press release continues.

The band’s Brian Littrell commented, “When we talk about this being a homecoming, it’s because Germany is where everything clicked for us. It’s where our dream stopped being hypothetical and became something real. Coming back for these shows feels full circle.”

The Düsseldorf concert series follows the band’s unprecedented success with their “Into The Millennium” Sphere show in Las Vegas. The first Vegas show reported to Pollstar dates back July 11, 2025, the last one so far is from Aug. 29, 2026.

Across that time, Backstreet Boys sold 900,410 tickets across 54 reported shows – all sold out, and averaging 16,674 per show. The gross in that span was $151.67 million.

Due to continued demand, Backstreet Boys recently added a set of New Year’s weekend performances of “Into The Millennium” at Sphere. The Live Nation-produced shows are set for Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 and 2.
