Bowery Presents Names Four Executives Co-Presidents Following Glancy and Moore Departures

The company announced today (September 28) that Co-Presidents  Jim Glancy  and  John Moore are stepping aside from their roles at the New York-based concert promoter.

Four executives – Josh Bhatti , Charley Magrew , Andrew Martin , and Josh Moore – have each been promoted to Senior Vice President and will collectively assume leadership of the company.

Magrew will lead on marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, and venue initiatives, based out of the company’s New York office.

Moore will oversee talent, also based in New York .

Martin , based in Nashville , will have oversight of business and legal affairs.

Bhatti will run the Boston-based New England office as a standalone regional promoter, having previously reported into Glancy and Moore .

The four executives will report to Brent Fedrizzi , President, North American Regional Offices for AEG Presents .

Magrew , Martin , and Moore will share responsibility for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the New York office.

John Moore co-founded The Bowery Presents as an independent promotion company in 2004 , with Glancy joining as a partner in 2006 .

The Bowery Presents became part of AEG Presents in late 2016 , according to the announcement.

AEG acquired a stake in the New York-born promoter , claiming at the time to be “the #1 concert promoter in New York City.”

About the transition, Glancy and Moore said in a joint statement: “Founding The Bowery Presents and partnering together to grow the company has been an incredibly rewarding chapter for us. We’re proud of what we’ve built alongside an extraordinary team and grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey.

Bhatti joined The Bowery Presents in 2010 as its first employee working outside New York City .

He began his career in artist management and then at Clear Channel Entertainment before moving into independent concert promotion.

Magrew started out at Hennepin Theatre Trust , promoting shows in Minneapolis , before relocating to New York for leadership roles at Broadway Across America and Kings Theatre .

He joined The Bowery Presents in 2015 .

Martin , who holds a J.D. from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Dallas , started at AEG Presents in 2007 before joining The Bowery Presents in 2018 , most recently serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel.

Josh Moore got his start as a concert promoter in Athens, Georgia , and first joined AEG Presents in 2005 , working out of the company’s New York office.

In 2007 , he began his tenure at The Bowery Presents as one of its original talent buyers, starting with the Music Hall of Williamsburg .

The Bowery Presents operates Brooklyn Steel , among other venues, and its parent has expanded its portfolio of venues across North America over the past decade, including Roadrunner in Boston .

The transition is the latest in a series of leadership changes at AEG Presents during 2026 , which has also seen the company name two Vice Presidents within its marketing division.

Earlier this year, AEG also expanded its Venue Development team through a round of internal promotions and three new hires, with Cameron Marcotte elevated to Vice President , while Jake Hiersteiner and Mike Ryan have been promoted to Director roles.

The Bowery Presents describes itself as the leading East Coast concert promoter, with a mission to bring artists to New York City , Boston , Philadelphia , and beyond.

The company says it has worked with artists including LCD Soundsystem , Brandi Carlile , Tyler, The Creator , Sam Smith , and Tyler Childers as they have grown from clubs to arenas. Music Business Worldwide
