Cirque du Soleil’s Alizé Sells 500,000 Tickets in Berlin, Announces New Dates

Alizé, Cirque du Soleil’s first residency in Europe, has passed the milestone of half-a-million tickets sold, according to a press release from Live Nation, producers of the show.

Taking place at Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany, Alizé launched in November 2025, and already surpassed 500,000 tickets sold. Which is why Live Nation today announced the addition of new dates until the end of 2027.

The presale kicks off Friday, Sept. 25, with tickets available from €59.90 ($68.60) depending on the day and timing of the show. A variety of hospitality packages and premium offers is available.

Ticket number 500,000 went to a family of five who got surprised with a symbolic souvenir and a group photo with the cast and crew of Alizé after the show.

Cirque Du Soleil’s Alizé, designed specifically for Berlin’s Theater am Potsdamer Platz, combines world-class acrobatics and magic for the first time. The main character, Alizé, takes audiences on a journey into a mysterious dream world beyond the visible, all conveyed through a breathtaking live show that completely abstains from incorporating any spoken word into the performance.

Live Nation GSA also announced that it has something special planned for the show’s first anniversary this coming November.

ALIZÉ is the 54th original production and the first residency of Cirque du Soleil in Europe, which first set up camp in Germany 30 years ago. Since a new era began in 1995 with Saltimbanco, 16 productions have performed in either the Grand Chapiteau – Cirque du Soleil’s touring big top, or arenas in 16 German cities.

Getting the Theater am Potsdamer Platz to meet the needs of this complex production took almost three months, and required more than 60 technicians.

43 artists/acrobats from 21 countries are part of the Alizé ensemble, and the creative team is made up of Valentine Losseau & Raphaël Navarro (director, author & magic designer); Marion Motin (associate director); Emilie Emiroglou (creative director); Chloe Lamford (set designer); Lizzie Frankl (props designer); Sébasatien Dionne (costume designer); Maryse Gosselin (make-up artist); Émilie Thierrien & Jérōme Lebault (acrobatic designers); Pierre Masse & Ewen Seagle (acrobatic equipment designers); Martin Labrecque & Nicolas Decoteaux (lighting co-designers); Jean-Michel Caron (sound designer); Philippe Brault & Raphael Reed (composers); Martin Dignard (line producer); Anastasia Kitsos (production director); Simon Larose Lachance (technical director).
